The Central Intelligence Agency Clan Code of Conduct ------------------------------------ The Central Intelligence Agency Clan Code of Conduct is the set of standards by which all members of the Central Intelligence Agency live up to and are measured by. Members of the Central Intelligence Agency are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct at all times, especially when communicating with other members via in game, Xfire and E-Mail. Members are to respect and treat each other with dignity in every situation. Article I. * No clan member shall harm, cause the death of, humiliate, black mail or disgrace another member of the Central Intelligence Agency Clan. * Members of the Central Intelligence Agency Clan shall treat one another as they would a member of their own family... with respect, honor and hospitality. * When in a Lobby, Chat Room or Conversation with another member or members, adhere to your position within the CiA as much as possible. Real Life events and discussions should be held in private and distinguished from clan related conversations. * CoC rules apply even when in a public chat or forum, whether it belongs to CiA or not. While the atmosphere appears leisurely in a chat room, conversation or forum, no member is to provoke or encourage an argument, insults, the discussion of offensive matters, or annoyances in any way to demean the name of the Central Intelligence Agency Clan. * If a member of CiA or any other clan attacks or in some way attacks you in a Chat, forum, conversation or even game you immediately report the matter to the Leader of your group, Clan Rep or highest ranking official around. Never attempt to take the matter into your own hands. * Do not be annoying or aggressive to your fellow members, this includes starting arguments, confrontations and generally putting someone else down. * Foul language, cursing or obscene topics are not permitted within an official clan meeting or discussion. * Members may hold multiple officer ranks but may NOT hold more than one main rank. * No clan member is to make fun of, put down or attack a non-clan member not declared as enemy by The Founders. This includes constant attacks on one person or clan that can lead to the disruption of treaties and or alliances that are or can become possible. Article II. * All members of the CiA will follow the proper protocols when making general inquiries. It is a specific hierarchy to be utilized when asking questions and making comments, ideas, filing submittals, etc. This is not done to restrict interaction in the CiA, but mainly to cut down on confusing and chaotic communication between members. The Founders, General Leaders and Division Leaders ALWAYS welcome independent communication with a Member's specific or confidential problems or comments. * Before aggressive action is taken against any foreign Clan the The Founders must sign off on it. The individual who authorizes the action will take the full brunt of the punishment if their superior finds the order to go against CiA Policy. Your superior speaks with the voice of his/her superior and so on, who eventually speaks with the voice of the Founders, to disobey an order can be construed as treason and can bare the punishment of Banishment from The Central Intelligence Agency Clan. * No member shall exceed his or her mandate which may interfere with the functionality of the Central Intelligence Agency Clan as a whole, will not seek out information known to not be of a matter concerning their rank class or job duty. Members shall not discuss matters of the Central Intelligence Agency Clan with foreign clans, enemies or those not serving within the clan itself. * Any CiA Members found to have violated the CoC will be given ONE warning by their Division Leader...A second offense/violation or gross violation could result in a dismissal from Central Intelligence Agency Clan. * Every Central Intelligence Agency Officer, no matter what rank, should strive to conduct them selves in a true Central Intelligence Agency manner and live up to the Central Intelligence Agency Clan motto: "Distinction and Honor". Article III. * All disputes between members of the Central Intelligence Agency must be brought to the notice of the Division Leader or General Leader before any action is taken. * War can and will ONLY be approved by the The Founders itself and no other body in the CiA. * In times of war all nonessential communication is restricted. This includes contacting high standing officials unless it is of the highest importance and is related directly to the war or the safety of CiA. * If ANY member of this Clan is in question and is less then vigorous in enforcing this policy, then those members can be thought of as traitors will be removed and banned. Article IIII. * This is an international community gaming clan and we accept members from all over the world who are fully fluent in the english language. The official language of this clan is English. Members must be fluent in reading and writing the English language. * Minimum age to qualify for membership is 13. We prefer members to be 18+, but it really just comes down to how you conduct yourself. Bottom line is that we require our members to have a mature attitude and personality and that they get along friendly with each other. * All members and recruits are required to wear proper clan tags on all times. They are our banner and should be worn with pride. example: >!CiA!
